DESCRIPTION
It produces clusters of pink heart to bell shaped flowers that appear all the way through summer and into autumn.
As such it is great over pergolas and trellises.
Although an evergreen it can appear to be a deciduous perennial if the climate is a touch to chilly for it.
Planting And Care:
Sunlight
- Direct sunlight.
Soil
- Moist Soils, Well-Drained Soils
Watering :
- Water when soil feels dry to the touch
- Sparingly as plant is fairly drought tolerant.
- Do not overwater the plant.
Fertilizer:
- Feed with an all purpose fertilizer when tree is below 1.5mOh .
- Flowering fertilizer can be used once trees begin flowering.
- Always apply water to the port immediately after the application of fertilizer.
Plant Protection
- Remove any dead, infected, or damaged parts of the plant and discard them away.
- For any disease or insect attack, you can use “Neem oil”, Eucalyptus oil, or Citrus oil spray for usual treatment.
