The Peacock plant, also known as Calathea makoyana, is a beautiful tropicalhouseplant, famed for its beautiful, contrasting green and purplish-red leaves that will brighten up any indoor living space.
PLANT CARE:
Light:Semi-Shade, Full Shade
Water:Occasional Misting, Lots of Water, Maintain moist soil. Water once the surface of the soil starts to dry.
Fertiliser:Use liquid or water soluble fertilizer made up at no more than half strength and apply every 2-4 weeks during the growing season. NPK 3-1-2 is perfect, but a balanced preparation is normally fine.
Soil:Moist Soils, Well-Drained Soils, Fertile Loamy Soils
