Originally from India, it is very popular and is known as ‘Mogra’ in this country.
It’s very easily confused between ‘Maid Of Orleans’ & ‘Arabian Nights’. ‘Arabian Nights’ have petals like ‘Maid Of Orleans’ but double flowered (having more petals) and leaves are arranged in pairs at alternate right angles.
Arabian Nights can grow under sun or shade but will flower best under sunny conditions, moderate water & moist soils or well-drained soils.”
