DESCRIPTION

Purple longan is easy to grow with similar technique to usual longan types but a higher percentage of blooming.

urple longan is very suitable for growing on dune soil or alluvial soil. Especially, the resistance of the longan is so high that it can prevent dragon broom disease without using any pesticides or fertilizer. Moreover, the trunk is stronger than ordinary longan, which makes it is able to resist the storm.

In conclusion, the purple longans creates huge profit and is easier to grow compared to the usual longans.

Size of Pot: 20-25cm

Size of Plant : approx 80cm (vary in sizes)

Planting And Care:

Sunlight

Direct sunlight.

Soil

Moist Soils, Well-Drained Soils

Watering :

Water when soil feels dry to the touch.
Do not overwater the plant.

Fertilizer:

Feed with an all purpose fertilizer when tree is below 1.5mOh .
Flowering fertilizer can be used once trees begin flowering.
Always apply water to the port immediately after the application of fertilizer.

Plant Protection

Remove any dead, infected, or damaged parts of the plant and discard them away.
For any disease or insect attack, you can use “Neem oil”, Eucalyptus oil, or Citrus oil spray for usual treatment.
