DESCRIPTION

Chamaedorea elegans, commonly called parlor palm or neanthe bella palm, that is native to rainforests from southeastern Mexico to northern Guatemala.

Chamaedorea does like light, but not direct sunlight. A spot in the semi-shade is therefore the best solution.

Soil

Moist Soils, Well-Drained Soils

Watering :

Water when soil feels dry to the touch
Do not overwater the plant.

Fertilizer:

Apply granular fertilizer every 2 months
Always apply water to the port immediately after the application of fertilizer.

Plant Protection

Remove any dead, infected, or damaged parts of the plant and discard them away.
For any disease or insect attack, you can use “Neem oil”, Eucalyptus oil, or Citrus oil spray for usual treatment.
